New exhibitors and local charity give the Chelsea Antiques Fair
a new look this September
18/9/2014-21/9/2014

This Autumn, Chelsea will see many more 20th Century dealers exhibiting, including Barclay Samson, renowned dealer of 20th Century vintage posters, Art of the Imagination, experts in 20th Century and contemporary illustrations ans sculptures, while James Miles specialises in decorative works of arts from 1860 to the present day and Deco Original in art deco furniture and accessories. DB Gems will bring a wide range of period jewellery, while Marilyn Garrow is one of the leading textile dealers in the UK and Mary Wise Antiques will exhibit ceramics, ormolu and bronze, as well as a selection of pictures including Chinese rice paper paintings.
New furniture dealers exhibiting this year are Marcus Rex, Marcellino Herald, Cantelo and Broughton Antiques Restoration.

To enhance the experience, there will be guided tours around the Fair, which will encourage visitors to chat to dealers and learn more about their specialities as well as learn insider tips on collecting art and antiques in general.

The new charity - The Children's Hospital Trust Fund - was set up by a team of paediatric doctors in recognition of the fact that sometimes more than NHS funds are needed to maintain the excellent level of care in hospital for children and their families. Based on the advice of the medical trustees, they step in to support the 75,000 babies, children and their families who come to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital every year by funding state of the art medical and surgical equipment which wouldn’t otherwise be available in the hospital; from specialist play equipment for sensory rooms to million pound surgical robots.

The Spring Chelsea Antiques Fair will take place from 18th - 22nd March 2015.
