FEATURING 70 DEALERS, UNIQUE WORKS OF ART, SPECIAL EXHIBITS, LECTURE SERIES AND MORE

WHAT: SOFA CHICAGO, the world’s foremost fair devoted to Sculpture, Objects, Functional Art + Design, returns
November 7-9 for its 21st year with 70 dealers from around the world exhibiting an array of ceramics, wood, glass, fiber, jewelry, metal and innovative design. More than 34,000 fairgoers including artists, collectors, curators, designers, and art patrons from around the world attended SOFA CHICAGO in 2013, enjoying familiar favorites such as the Corning Museum of Glass Hot Glass Roadshow and the annual Lecture Series alongside dealer presentations that highlighted emerging artists and designers.

For the 10th straight year, SOFA CHICAGO will be sponsored in part by Chubb Personal Insurance, one of the world’s preeminent insurers of fine homes, art, antiques, jewelry, automobiles, yachts, and other prized possessions.
Highlights of this year’s Fair include:

GALLERIES Prominent international galleries including Abmeyer + Wood Fine Art (Washington), Ann Nathan Gallery (Illinois), Beaver Galleries (Australia), Craft
Scotland (Scotland), David Richard Gallery (New Mexico), Habatat Galleries (Michigan), Heller Gallery (New York), Ippodo Gallery (Japan and New York),
Officine Saffi (Italy) and Wexler Gallery (Pennsylvania).

CONNECT, the widely popular design competition and exhibition, will return for the second year. This year
CONNECT will include six notable art and design universities, each to create 576-square foot environments on the show floor featuring installations with innovative seating and lighting designs where fair visitors can "connect.”

SOFA Lecture Series offering timely and interactive presentations by renowned artists, critics, curators, designers and collectors, will be featured on Friday and
Saturday of the fair and is included with admission.
Special Exhibits at SOFA featuring exciting museum-style presentations organized by museums and international art organizations. This year’s Special Exhibits will include booth presentations from Cranbrook Academy of Art (Bloomfield Hills, MI), and Collectors of Wood Art, among others.

VIP Preview 5-7pm for VIP cardholders only.
Public Preview: 7-9pm; $50 tickets available
General Admission: Friday and Saturday,
November 7-8, 11am-7pm, Sunday, November 9, noon-6pm.
