Main goals of the project
- presentation of  the Czech glass and costume jewellery industry to  the general public and specialists in the international context
- increase of the awareness of the northern Bohemia as the centre of the glass and costume jewellery production
- introduction of the Museum of Glass and Jewellery as the presentation centre of the glass and costume jewellery production in the Czech Republic

Triennial opening for the public: Sunday 29th June 2014, free admission to the exhibitions TRENDS.DESIGN.PRODUCTION, AND THAT´S US and THE GLASS REPUBLIC, accompanying programme for the public in the park at the main museum building.

Triennial end for the pubic: Tuesday 28th October 2014, free admission to the exhibition TRENDS.DESIGN.PRODUCTION, accompanying programme for the public.
 
TRENDS.DESIGN.PRODUCTION
The largest exhibition of glass and costume jewellery in the Czech Republic
Venue: the main museum building, dates: 5th June 2014 (for VIP) – 28th October 2014
The exhibition will be open for the public as a preview of the Triennial from 7th  to 28th June 2014.
The glass and costume jewellery production is a competitive and functional part of the industry and is capable to produce outstanding designs and works of art, together with economically interesting products and new technologies.
- Successful products of the Czech and foreign glass and costume jewellery companies and design studios from  the last three years will be displayed
- 73 companies, design marks and studios will be presented
– 39 exhibiting glass and 34 exhibiting costume jewellery and jewellery
- companies from the Czech Republic and the Czech representation of the companies from Slovakia, Germany, Austria, Finland and Turkey will take part in the exhibition
- international committee award/museum award/visitors award will be granted

International committee of experts: Chiara Squarcina (Director of the Murano Museo del Vetro, Italy), Kaisa Koivisto (Chief Curator, Suomen Lasimuseo Rihimäki, Finland), Pierre Schlevogt (jeweller and teacher, Germany), Kazimierz Pawlak (Akademia sztuk Pieknych, Wroclaw, Poland), Markéta Vejrostová (applied arts theorist, Brno, the Czech Republic).
 
AND THAT´S US
Exhibition of students work from specialised secondary schools and universities
Venue: N-Gallery, dates: 25th June (for VIP) to 31st August 2014
- presentation of glass and costume jewellery from 16 secondary schools and universities and their studios including works awarded in competitions of the last three years
- Slovak and Polish universities will be presented together with the Czech schools
 
THE GLASS REPUBLIC

Collection of present glass work of designers from the whole Czech Republic
Venue: the Church of St. Ann, dates: 26th June (for VIP) to 31st August 2014
- exhibition of 20 glass artists coming from 4 generations and all regions of the Czech Republic; their exhibits are from the last five years
- collection of exhibits representing an access to glass as a mean of an artificial self-expression from a traditional sculptural to a post-modern  perception of the world.
 
INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM OF COSTUME JEWELLERY
Symposium venue: the Secondary School of Applied Arts and College, Jablonec nad Nisou,?30th June – 3rd July 2014
Exhibition venue:  the Belveder Gallery, 3rd July (for VIP) – 28th October 2014
- students symposium on costume jewellery
- participants from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland

- exhibition and sale of glass and costume jewellery, production presentations, workshops, fashion shows, cultural programme
 
GLASS SUNRISE – 3RD YEAR
23rd September 2014 (Town hall – meeting room of the municipal government)in collaboration with the Union of  Industry and Transport of the Czech Republic
- seminar and discussion on the presence and future of the Czech glass industry
