The concept of the “Li-Wai” glass series comes from different types of traditional Chinese vessels such as vases and bowls (Figure 1). The elegant outline and proportions combine an esthetic yet daily usable item. The design brings the beauty of tradition into modern daily life. When the cup filled with various drinks, the "vase" or "bowl" shows up, with different colors. The objects are hand-made from double wall borosilicate glass.
