STANISLAV LIBENSKY AWARD 2016
 
In 2016 the Prague Gallery of Czech Glass for the eighth time announces Stanislav Libenský Award. The call is open for young artists from around the world, graduates of bachelor's or master's degree, who in his/her final work used glass.

About the awards decided by an international jury, which this year will be composed of distinguished experts from the field of glass, as the director of Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague Helena Koenigsmarková, Maja Heuer, founder and director of Swedish glassmaking center of The Glass Factory, Erika Tada, Japanese glass artist and educator working in the United States and in Japan, Charlie Parriott, American glass artist working with glass in commercial and artistic applications since 1972, Petr Nový, chief curator of the Museum of Glass and Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou. Professional supervisor is Milan Hlaveš, head of collections of glass, ceramics and porcelain in the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague.
 
Completed online registration form, accompanied by a photo of the present work, CV and abstract works in English must be submitted no later than June 26th, 2016 (Sunday) at midnight CET.
 
International glass exhibition Stanislav Libenský Award 2016 will take place at the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art from September 15th to November 14th, 2016.
