Elle luit
4/3/2018-20/5/2018

The light, in each and every sense, is inherent to the jewellery art. Bright, mat, black, transparent or diaphanous, these ornaments uncover their face by way of these various games. Fundamental energy, the light slips through materials in order to reveal them with brightness. The body who wears a piece of jewellery is evolving in his relation with the world, he uncovers his deployed privacy, it glistens in so many other ways.

Following The European Triennial for contemporary Jewellery, the WCC-BF offers another look at this field. A selection made by Claire Lavendhomme in which the light tends to emphasize the part of invisibility, depth and essentiality under the concrete physicality of the designs.

The exhibition Elle luit brings together 30 jewels designers brough to light by Henriette Michaux thanks to Cédric Jadin‘s luminaires.
